Strand's Arabian Stables is an impressive equine training facility situated on 55 acres of beautiful, plush green pastures, where hay is used directly from its own fields. Rows of white fence border the fields and pastures. In the spring, the scent of pink crab trees in bloom line the lanes. Among the almost 50 year old evergreen trees surrounding the outdoor arena and birch trees scattered throughout the farm, large boulders and a multitude of fragrant red and pink rose bushes adorn the equine landscaping.
There are over 50 large heated indoor box stalls, each lined with rubber matting for both comfort and care. The horse facilities and 60 x 150 ft indoor arena are fully heated during the colder months. The large heated cedarwood client lounge and viewing area allows for an upclose view of training horses, riding lessons, and foals being turned out for the first time!
An outdoor riding arena is also used for training and lessons during the warmer months of the year. Pastures for daily turn-out or boarding may include automatic waterers and a large lean-to as coverage from the elements.
Riding along the lanes and touring through this facility, it is obvious the amount of care and pride taken in this farm to ensure the safety as well as the beauty of Strand's Arabian Stables and all of its equine friends.
